    Photo data on frame

My Solo has been including the photo data on stills and videos. It’s gotta be a minor setting problem, but I can’t find anything in the manuals. Any help? Thanks.

    Landing pads

Mine is 2 sections of 1/4 inch ply forming a two foot square. The brass hinge is mounted on the back with brass nuts and bolts. It’s light and portable. Don’t have to stake it down.

    glad to see this

I’ve got two Solos and one P3P. The Solos are pretty much the workhorses for video and SAR, the P3 for mapping and stills. Just a preference.

Is this behavior normal & explainable

Even with a clear view if the sky GPS signals can be affected by a nearby structure or trees.

    Mission Planning for Solo

Good so far, but I stared at the "Mavlink Connecting" loading thing for about 20 minutes before I canceled it. Got 10 satellites inside the house, though.

    Mission Planning for Solo

I want to use MP and other apps for my Solo, but can't get past the connect the controller to computer prompt. No problem with the DJI, but the HDMI port on the Solo controller is different. Should I buy a cable and use that port?

Idiot arrested for flying drone over wildfire

The TFR (Temporary Flight Restriction) in place during a fire or for other reasons is for the safety of all. Please, let's all stay clear. The altitudes of the fire-fighting helicopter I flew ranged from zero at the water source to maybe a few hundred feet between the water source to the fire.

    What's your favorite "mini" drone?

I'll blame that on spell check. Great little drone. I fly it around the house a lot also. Makes the Solo "Fly Manual" mode a non-event.

    What's your favorite "mini" drone?

The Symantec X5 seems like an inexpensive way to get into drones. I've been beating mine up for over a year now. It takes a lot of punishment from crashes. I've replaced two motors so far - I fly mine a lot in and outdoors. A pack of four motors cost around 8 becks total on eBay.

Controller will not power off, no WiFi from Solo

Glad to hear there's still some tech support available. I couldn't turn my controller off once, so I disconnected the battery. After reconnecting it, I haven't had any problems.
