I had this happen to me on the weekend. Got helicoptered into a remote location in northern Australia with no way to recharge the four batteries I had with me. Solo software is so buggy I've returned with no usable footage. These intermittent bugs are the worst. Very disappointing.

I regularly recharge my Solo batteries using a cheap 150W inverter in my car. Works well, as far as I can tell. Stewart

I was less concerned about the non-avian archosaur attacking my drone.

I've had a few black kites and wedge-tailed eagles check out my Solo, along with some smaller birds mobbing it. I always land the drone immediately whenever any of these larger birds take an interest in it. I wonder if painting the drone bright orange would make the drone less interesting to birds.

You'd have to carry six or more current Solo batteries to get close to achieving two hours of flight time. That's a lot of weight to bear if you're carrying it on you for any distance.

Anyone ever get this working with VLC on a Mac?
