I got really sick of my Solo controller tipping over and disappearing under my belly roll when I take my hands off the controls when I'm wearing the neck strap that 3DR so very kindly gave me for free. It's not so bad when my S5 phone is on but the Samsung tab 4 is another story weight wise. So I put my Kiwi No 8 wire mentality to work and came up with a simple solution. It is a short strap with a 2 homemade plastic clips at each end with a 12mm hole in them which slide over each antenna and up to the base of the antenna. It also feeds through the aforementioned Solo Strap just above the quick release clip on their strap. It isn't fixed to the solo strap, its just threaded through and is left to float after getting the balance right but the whole setup provides 3 anchor points instead of one. Pretty basic really. The extra strap doesn't conceal or inhibit the use of any controls or visuals and takes only seconds to fit.Iv'e included 7 photos that I hope have stuck to this missive but i'm sure someone will tell me if they haven't. Anyway if it takes your fancy off you go to your workshops, the thing works a treat for me. Must say guys, I love this forum, I've made a simple flight manual with basic info in a plastic insert folder that I take with me when I'm flying so I big print, copy and paste any good forum stuff into Word and put in the folder. As Ive said before a simple voice recorder function in the Solo app would be great for recording inflight occurrences. Keep up the brilliant work 3DR

Maddog, your images give a "no permission" response? I'd like to see your setup

That is a nice remedy, Mad Jack. My only problem is, most of the time I use my FPVLR antenna. I don't use a neck strap only because they are too short for me, and after a while, it bugs my neck. That is a nice setup for the stock antennas, though. Welcome to the forum, and happy flying.

Great setup! I have FPVLR as well, but I think you could simply slip them on before you hooked up the antenna.
