Best MP4 video editing and compression software?

I use Corel Videostudio Ultimate 9, i mean sure i could use Sony Vegas but the speed of videostudio suits me better.

Powerful enough for edits but not too many pro options. But the best part is probably that mercelli (stabilisation addon) is built in.

I just got Powerdirector with their xmas sale price and I'm pretty impressed so far. Can be as complicated or easy as you want to make it. GoPro Studio was too buggy or I would still be using it for small stuff. Powerdirector has an action sports settings menu and can handle distortion and stabilization with ease.
